Our trade is building, but our currency is trust. Sometimes that means challenging the norm and asking the tough questions. Everything we do has the intent of building and preserving the relationships we have with the people we work with.

HOW WE WORK
Minimal add-on fees.
We hate them as much as you do, and we do everything we can to avoid them. Sometimes things come up that are unavoidable and unforeseen, but we spend a lot of time in the estimate phase to identify as many potential obstacles as we can. This includes working with experienced experts who know what to expect. We also don’t sweat the small stuff. Most of the time, when the unexpected happens we’re able to take care of it without you even hearing about it. When something does come up that requires additional funds we will communicate clearly and directly so we can keep the project moving.

We have a full roster of loyal, reliable trade experts who are masters of their craft which allows us to take on almost any project.
Long-term relationships.
We have spent a lot of time working with some of the best people. From trade partners, to vendors, to clients, our goal is to establish a working relationship that lasts a long time. Our goal in any interaction is to ensure that we are the ones who get the call on the next project.
ESTIMATES.
We do not provide free estimates for first-time clients. A $500 fee will be applied to initial projects. If we move forward, the estimate fee will be rolled into the total cost of the project. This allows us to be more efficient with our time and maintain focus on the work at hand.

Jonathan has spent years in the trades having been raised in a family of craftsmen, where he learned from a young age how to paint, lay brick, wire a panel, square a foundation, or install a water heater. He then went on to art school, where he refined his aesthetic sensibilities, his eye for detail and critical thinking skills, along with a heart for precision.
After contributing to several startup ventures, he now takes his repertoire of skills and experience back to the jobsite. With an artist’s eye, a long-term perspective, and pragmatic business approach he launched Roost Builders to bring to life his vision of providing a sense of home to as many people as he can.

What to expect:
> We will respond to your request as soon as possible (usually within 1-2 business days)
> Based on the information provided, we will initiate a follow up conversation to better understand your needs and the scope of the project
> We will schedule a time to meet on-site to assess the project.
> Based on the scope, we will either start building an estimate or schedule follow up visits with trade experts as needed
> An estimate will be presented (format to be determined) for approval
> Approved estimates will be followed by a contract, payment schedule, and projected timeline
> Kick off commences once paperwork and schedule are finalized and deposit has been received
